User Poll

I have set up a user poll to get everyone's input on how my site can be improved. Please take a few seconds to complete the poll so I can get your input.  I have limited time and resources, so I would like to put effort into what the users of the site like. Thank you.

New Web Links added

Security Links Update

I have added additional web links to the Forensics section and will be adding more in the near future.

Have you ever needed a computer software tool set that you can carry on a USB stick? I have published links to some of the portable apps that I have found very useful. These include network and computer tools that I think are essential. Included are other tools for helping with productivity. As always, these tools are free.

Risk Management Tracking Tool

This is an Excel tool that will help you prepare an overview of system risk level. Contains a full dashboard with averages and trends for all systems entered. Supports analysis and tracking of 100 systems. Check it out in my download section under the Security Professional - Risk Management section.

Network Mapping Tool

The Dude Network Mapping and Monitor
The Dude network monitor is a new application by MikroTik. It will automatically scan all devices within specified subnets, draw and layout a map of your networks, monitor services of your devices and alert you in case a service has problems. Best of all it is free! Check out the Network Tools section in the Free Security Links.

Forensic Presentation Download

I have uploaded a new Forensic Procedures and Lab Setup Presentation to the Forensics folder in the download section. This is a good presentation for covering forensic basics and best practices for setting up a lab.
